Mental Health

  • Our GPs are experienced in dealing with depression and anxiety and have an interest in more complex mental health

  • For those on the mental health or dementia register we aim to complete a care plan

  • We work with the counselling service (IAPT) and have a counsellor on site.

  • We work closely with the community mental health team and have patients who are under the care of the community psychiatric liaison nurse managed on site.

  • For those who are at risk of self-harm we reduce medication allowances to keep them safe.
